NAV - VolunteerNAV - Volunteer

At Northwoods Catholic, we believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and we make every effort to partner with parents in the education and formation of their children.

Many parents (and grandparents!) desire to show their support in a very concrete way. In addition to volunteering, supporting fundraising initiatives, and coordinating many of the social activities, some parents also serve in advisory roles. We want and encourage our parents to be involved.

In order to volunteer at any school function or act as a chaperone on field trips, all adults must attend the Virtus training offered by the Archdiocese and provide the school with a copy of their attendance verification. The classes are held at parishes throughout the Archdiocese and are offered year-round. For a full description of the program visit www.virtusonline.org where you can easily find a class that is convenient for you and then enroll online. We encourage you to take this class before the start of school so you will be able to fully participate in activities at Northwoods.

Northwoods Association of Volunteers - NAV is the parent volunteer organization for the school. The president of NAV meets weekly with the principal to plan NAV functions and events.
