Religion:

Formal
and informal instruction includes the study of scripture through stories,
follow the liturgical seasons of the Church, formation in prayer life and
living a life of grace.

Language Arts:

oral communication, listening skills, pre-reading skills, letter recognition,
phonemic awareness and writing skills.

Mathematics:

Develop
concepts with numbers such as numerical value, counting, one-to one
correspondence, simple addition and subtraction, measuring and simple story
problems. Study left and right.

of general science including plants, animals, the five senses, external body
parts, weather, space, physical properties of matter (shape, color, size and
texture), and nutrition.

in greater depth the family structure, community helpers, Native American
Indians, Columbus, the Pilgrims, and citizenship.

Spanish:

Develop
listening and speaking through songs and games.

Handwriting:

Introduces
manuscript handwriting of numbers, letters and the student's name.

Art:

Create
projects integrated into the classroom lessons.

Physical Education:

Movement
and Movement. Students engage in exercise, songs, group games and
activities. Development of motor
skills, eye-hand coordination, and movement are emphasized.
