Religion:

Formal
and informal instruction includes the study of scripture through stories,
follow the liturgical seasons of the Church,
formation in prayer life and living a life of grace.

Language Arts:

Develop
oral communication, listening skills, pre-reading skills and pre-writing
skills. Study the alphabet, nursery
rhymes and poems.

Mathematics:
|
Develop
concepts with numbers such as numerical value, counting, one-to one
correspondence. Study shapes, patterns
and left and right.
|
Science:
|
Study
of general science including plants, animals, the five senses, weather,
seasons, external body parts and physical properties of matter (shape, color,
size and texture).

Social Studies:
|
Introductory
study of the family structure, community helpers, Native American Indians,
Columbus, the Pilgrims, and citizenship.
|
Spanish:
|
Develop
listening and speaking through songs and games.
Students
receive Spanish twice a week.
|
Art:
|
Create
projects integrated into the classroom lessons.
|
Physical Education:
|
Music
and Movement. Students engage in exercise, group games, songs and
activities. Development of motor
skills, eye-hand coordination, and movement are emphasized.
