Our parents are an important part of the mystique of Northwoods Catholic. They regularly tell us about their experiences at Northwoods so we can share their stories with others who are considering our school.
Our son John Joseph has attended Northwoods Catholic School since 2004. He began in PK3 and is now in first grade. We are very impressed with the academic curriculum used at Northwoods. We are confident that John Joseph is learning at an accelerated rate and enjoying every minute of it. But the main reason we send our son to Northwoods is to receive an authentic Catholic formation. What we teach him at home is being carried on at school in a loving and caring environment. We feel very blessed to live near a school that implements the integral formation developed by the Legionaires of Christ.

We are very pleased with our choice of Northwoods Catholic School for our children's education. Coming from homeschooling for many years, we knew that a balanced education was more than book learning. We are so happy that the formation of our children is integrated into all aspects of their day. Virtue and integrity are just as important as the three R's.

Babs and I would like to thank the entire faculty for the outstanding personal attention that you have given to our son. Londen. When we attend any school event, I see nothing but smiling faces and eager participation. It is so obvious that all of the students are receiving the same level of attention and formation that our son is receiving. We took Londen out of the public school system because they were slowly but surely chiseling away at the Catholic formation we had so carefully put into place and he was not getting the level of academics we knew he deserved. At Northwoods, the Catholic formation is far above what we had ever expected and the academics are outstanding! I wish we had learned of Northwoods prior to Londen beginning school.

This is the first year that my son, Arian Parsaie, a first grader, has attended Northwoods Catholic School. Northwoods has exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend this school to others. Arian is reading fluently and his handwriting has improved tremendously. His teacher, Mrs. Clancy, is fair, firm and consistent. This helps build a strong foundation of self-discipline in the children. I like the fact that the boys and girls classes are separate. Arian is growing in his faith and asking questions at home about Jesus and the Bible. I have to give credit to the principal and staff, but mostly I have to give credit to Mrs. Clancy. Altogether, I believe that Northwoods is worth every penny.
