Dress Code

All students are required to wear the school uniform supplied by: Parker School Uniforms 3425 FM 2920, Suite #114  - Spring, TX 77388 phone 281-528-6203    fax 281-528-6209 Generally: The school reserves final judgement as to the appropriateness of any dress code item or issue; All clothing must be neat and clean.  Frayed, torn or excessively worn items are not acceptable; Non-uniform sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. may be worn to and from school and during recess, but not in the school building; Hair length for boys may not fall below the top of the shirt collar or over the ears; Haircuts or styles may not be distracting in any way; no lines, patterns, multi-level cuts, etc. are permitted; Hair color must be consistent with natural hair color and may not be distracting in any way; Hair accessories for girls are acceptable in solid black, navy, dark green, white or the uniform Blackwatch plaid; Makeup, nail polish, lipstick, gloss, tattoos, body piercings, stickers, message buttons, etc. are not permitted at school; Jewelry items may consist of simple religious medals, watches and single-stud or very small, simple, single hoop earrings.  The hoop should be of such size that a finger could not fit in it when attached to the ear; Earrings for boys are not permitted. Boys Grades One through  Eight: Navy blue slacks or shorts, from Parker, are required for Grades One through Three; Navy blue slacks, from Parker, are required for Grades Four through Eight; Uniform neckties, from Parker, are required for Grades Six through Eight; Black, braided leather belts must be worn with slacks or shorts (may be purchased anywhere); White oxford dress shirts with button-down collars, long or short sleeves (may be purchased anywhere); If worn, undershirt must be plain white or the NCS PE shirt; Navy blue cardigan sweaters, from Parker, are optional for wear during the school day; Navy blue pullover sweaters, from Parker, are optional for Grades Four through Eight; Crew length socks must be navy blue or black with slacks, white with shorts, must not have letters or emblems; Socks must be full crew length, no ankle or low cut socks permitted;  Black dress shoes, with black laces are required for school.  No athletic, hiking or boot styles are permitted. Boys Preschool and Kindergarten: Navy blue elastic waist slacks or shorts, from Parker, are required; Green polo shirts, long or short sleeves, from Parker; Full crew length socks must be navy blue or black with slacks, white with shorts, must not have letters or emblem; Black dress shoes for Preschool and Kindergarten boys may be Velcro or buckle equipped.  Plain, black athletic shoes may be substituted. Girls: Blackwatch plaid jumpers, from Parker, are required in Preschool through Grade Three; Blackwatch plaid skirts, from Parker, are required in Grades Four through Eight; Navy blue vests, from Parker, are required in Grades Six through Eight; Jumpers or skirts must cover the knee;  Navy blue, black or dark green biking shorts or the uniform PE shorts must be worn under the jumpers/skirts; White blouses with Peter Pan collars are worn with the jumpers and may be purchased anywhere; White oxford blouses with button-down collars, long or short sleeves, are worn with skirts and may be purchased anywhere; Navy blue cardigan sweaters, from Parker, are optional for wear during the school day; Navy blue pullover sweaters, from Parker, are optional for Grades Four through Eight; Full crew length socks must be plain white, of a plain design (no lace, embroidery, ruffles,etc.);  Ankle socks or low cut socks are not permitted; Tights are optional, and must be plain white, black or navy blue; Black shoes for Preschool through Grade Five must be Mary Jane style, with a molded sole and no T-straps; Shoes for Grades Six through Eight must be black and white saddle oxfords. Physical Education: Grades Four through Eight will change clothes for PE. Kindergarten through Grade Three will change shoes only; Navy gym shorts, with school logo, and grey gym shirt, with school logo, are required for Grades Four through Eight; Biking or modesty shorts worn under jumpers and skirts  may not be used for PE; Athletic shoes are required for PE in Grades K through Eight; Socks must be of the same crew style worn with the regular school uniform.
