Sports Code of Conduct
Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success” …. Henry Ford
The Northwoods Catholic School Athletic program is a great opportunity for students 4th thru 8th grade to have fun, learn teamwork and challenge their athletic abilities. It is our goal that through participation that we will prepare our students for a lifetime of service to others.
Student athletes are expected to place academic commitment above athletic participation, and must maintain passing grades in all subjects to be eligible to play. Grades are checked at mid- nine weeks and the end of a grading quarter. Athletes are expected to attend all practices and athletic contests for their sport throughout the season. A student who is absent from school or considered absent is not eligible to participate in either practice or a game on the day of the day of the absence.
Every athlete is expected to represent the school with pride and follow our rules of conduct as they compete. A physical examination form must be completed and approved by your doctor before any student can participate in any sport activity.
