International Students

Northwoods Catholic School accepts a limited number of international applicants (I-20 students or students attending while on a parent's work visa) at the beginning of each school year. We will consider all applicants who will be residing with a parent on a work Visa in the United States. If you need assistance with locating a host family for an international applicant, we have independent agents who can help.

All international students who apply to Northwoods Catholic School must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for admissions:

  • Must possess significant fluency in English, written and spoken, as demonstrated through a series of tests and personal interviews.
  • Must have demonstrated superior academic and personal achievement in their previous schools.
  • Must take the Woodcock-MunozTM, which will be a measurable component in the admissions decision process.
  • Must complete the checklist of items below which includes the appropriate grade-level application.
Please note that an "enrolled" student is a student who has met all the requirements outlined above, has completed a contract with full payment, and has received an I-20 from Northwoods Catholic School.

If you have any questions about requesting and completing an application for an international student, please contact Kate O'Connor with the Admissions Office at 281-350-0300.
